Payment process and methods

You can pay for your order via iDEAL | Wero, bank transfer or by debit card upon collection. Would you like to pay with cryptocurrency? You can do so via our sister company Bitgild.com.

Fully anonymous purchases of gold or silver are no longer possible due to anti-money laundering regulations. However, you can choose to pay by PIN and receive an invoice without your name or address details.

No, since 1 January 2026 we no longer accept cash payments due to new Dutch legislation that prohibits cash payments of €3,000 or more. Counter purchases are still possible, but payment can only be made by PIN or bank transfer.

You can easily pay for your order via bank transfer using your order number as the reference.

For bank transfer payments, the amount must be paid within three working days after placing your order.

If your payment has failed, first check whether your payment or daily limit is high enough. With payments via iDEAL | Wero, a low limit may prevent the transaction from going through. If the payment still does not succeed, your bank may have declined it.

We currently maintain a minimum order amount of € 500 per order.

It is not possible to pay with cryptocurrency during checkout at The Silver Mountain. However, you can purchase precious metals and pay with cryptocurrency through our sister company Bitgild.com.
