At first glance, there are not that many differences between Umicore and C. Hafner gold bars. Both Umicore and C. Hafner guarantee gold with a gold content of at least 99.9% pure gold. The newly minted bars from Umicore and C. Hafner are all packaged in blister packs with certificates of authenticity. In addition, both producers have Good Delivery Status from the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).
However, there are minor differences: C. Hafner gold bars are slightly cheaper than Umicore bars. You can also buy smartpacks of 10 x 1 gram or 10 x 2 grams from C. Hafner. The small bars in these packs are separately tradable. Umicore, on the other hand, is one of the most respected producers of gold bars worldwide.
Up to what amount can cash buy gold bars?
