Buy Gold Anonymously at The Silver Mountain

At The Silver Mountain, you can buy gold anonymously through a counter purchase . This means you do not need to create an account, and no invoice with your name and address will be issued. For purchases up to €10,000, you can pay directly at our office, either in cash or by debit card.

How does anonymous gold buying work?

A counter purchase must always be arranged by phone at +31 (0)35 20 313 80. During the call, we fix the price at the current market rate and reserve the products you want. If items are in stock, we can immediately schedule an appointment for collection. If there is a delivery time, we will contact you once your order is ready.

As we do not keep inventory at our offices, your order will first be prepared in our warehouse. In practice, this takes a few working days. Collection is then possible by appointment only at our locations in Baarn or The Hague.

Why buy gold anonymously?

An anonymous gold purchase offers privacy: your name and address are not included in our records and are not shared with third parties. You collect the order yourself, without a courier or shipping company being involved. This allows you to discreetly build wealth with gold bars and gold coins.

Conditions for buying gold with cash

• Counter purchases are possible up to €10,000 per person, once per calendar month (until the end of 2025).
• If you come with multiple people, each person can make their own anonymous purchase up to the legal limit.
• For cash transactions, we charge a 1% administration fee to cover processing and deposit costs.
• We do not accept €500 notes.
• For access to our offices, we always ask for identification for our visitor register. This register is separate from the purchase itself.

Step-by-step: how to buy gold anonymously

Step 1: Place your order by phone

Call us and indicate you would like to make a counter purchase. We will fix the price and products at that moment. In case of long delivery times, we may request a deposit to cover price risk.

Step 2: Schedule your collection appointment

Together we arrange an appointment for collection in Baarn or The Hague. If products are not immediately available, we will contact you once your order is ready.

Step 3: Collect and pay

On the agreed date, you pay in cash or by debit card. Your name will not appear on the invoice. You only sign to confirm receipt, after which you can take your gold directly with you.

Buying gold with cash above €10,000

If you wish to invest more than €10,000 in gold, this cannot be done anonymously. In such cases we are required to issue an invoice in your name and register the transaction in accordance with Dutch law.

Paying in cash and shipping

It is not possible to pay in cash and then have the order shipped. Cash payments are only processed when you collect your order in person at our offices. This way, both parties have immediate certainty.

Anonymous purchase by debit card

A counter purchase can also be paid by debit card. Your name and address will not appear on the invoice. However, the transaction will show on your bank statement. Our account number appears as “TSM” to ensure maximum discretion.

Please note that most banks set a default debit card limit of around €2,500. For larger transactions, you must temporarily increase your limit in advance, which usually takes a few hours.

Selling gold anonymously

It is not possible to sell gold anonymously. For every gold sale, we are legally required to verify the origin of the gold and record your identification. For transactions above €250, identification is mandatory and the invoice is always issued in your name. Cash payouts when selling gold are possible up to €10,000.
