Can i buy precious metals with cash?
On 1 January 2026, legislation regarding the purchase of high-value goods in the Netherlands was amended. The Dutch government has introduced a ban on cash payments of €3,000 or more. As the purchase price of precious metals often exceeds this threshold at current market prices, this regulation has a direct impact on investors in precious metals.
As a result of these stricter regulations and the associated administrative requirements, we have decided not to accept cash payments from 1 January 2026 onwards, regardless of the transaction amount.
Counter sales will remain available
Despite the discontinuation of cash payments, you can still buy or collect your precious metals in person at our location. For counter sales, payment by debit card is available. We continue to offer options for completing your precious metal transaction as anonymously as possible, fully in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
