Pickup and delivery options

Selling your gold and silver to The Silver Mountain is safe, easy, and transparent. Once you have placed your sell-back order, you can choose from several secure methods to get your metals to us. Below is an overview of our procedures.

Personal Pickup Service (Recommended)

For high-value sell-orders, we recommend our discrete and secure pickup service. We use unbranded, armored vehicles to ensure maximum safety.

  • Planning: Choose your preferred collection date directly while finalizing your order.
  • Time Window: You will receive a notification regarding the specific time slot for the pickup.
  • Verification: After the pickup, your metals are verified at our office within two business days, followed by immediate payment processing.

Insured Shipping (PostNL or UPS)

If you prefer to ship your items, we provide a fully insured solution:

  • Labels: You will receive a specialized shipping label and strict packaging instructions via email.
  • Drop-off: Use PostNL for values up to €2,000 or UPS for values up to €5,000.
  • Insurance: Your shipment is fully covered by our specialized insurance policy, provided instructions are followed. Payment is issued upon receipt and inspection.

In-person drop-off by appointment

You are welcome to visit one of our offices. We will verify the weight and authenticity of your bars or coins in your presence.

  • ID Required: By law, a valid government-issued ID (Passport or Driver's License) is required for all transactions.
  • Payment: Funds are typically transferred to your bank account within 48 hours.
  • Locations: Baarn (Faas Eliaslaan 13) or The Hague (Prins Hendrikplein 14).

Selling from EBN Storage

If your metals are stored with Edelmetaal Beheer Nederland (EBN), the process is entirely administrative. Select 'Storage EBN' during checkout, and we will handle the transfer and payout without the need for physical transport.
