Information

100 gram silver Year of the Dragon coin 2024

This exquisite design, featuring a majestic dragon as its central element, pays homage to the rich traditions and symbolism of Chinese culture. Drawing inspiration from the Chinese zodiac, as also seen in Lunar coins, the year 2024 is heralded as the year of the dragon, a symbol associated with courage, ambition, intelligence, and good fortune.

Crafted from 100 grams of pure silver (99.99%), the coin is presented in a black presentation box. With a diameter of 50 millimeters and a nominal value of $50 in its country of origin, Canada, only 5,388 of these coins have been minted worldwide.

Reverse

The reverse has a has an embossed design rising to 3.85 mm. It also shows a dragon, along with the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the years of her reign. Around it are the inscriptions ELIZABETH II - the queen's name, 2024 - the year of issue and D. G. REGINA - the Latin abbreviation for “in God's grace, queen.”

Surrounded by a wood pattern on the edge of the coin, the dragon comes to life through Extraordinarily High Relief (EHR), elevating the finely detailed relief to an incredible height of 4.7 millimeters. Investment score

This product has a C-label (Collectibles). This means it is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. We consider products with a C-label to be collectibles. These are often coins minted in limited quantities, with luxury packaging and a unique theme.

Label information
Investment-score: A-label

Investment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.

Investment-score: B-label

Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.

Investment-score: C-label

Investment score: A C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
