Design platinum Maple Leaf coin
On the obverse of the coin is the well-known national symbol of Canada, the Maple Leaf. Above this is the country of issue CANADA, on either side of the maple leaf the purity, and below it the weight. Also added are the words for pure platinum in both English FINE PLATINUM and French PLATINE PUR.On the reverse is the portrait of ELIZABETH II. The name of the British queen is displayed above the image. Below the portrait, the coin's nominal value of 50 DOLLARS is added along with the year the coin was struck.
Platinum coins from previous years
The platinum Maple Leaf coins from previous years are generally cheaper than the newly struck coins, while the weight and content are the same. As a result, one receives proportionally more platinum for their money. All platinum Maple Leaf coins that we sell are checked for authenticity, weight and content.Margin Scheme
Platinum, like silver, is considered a commodity and for this reason bars of platinum and silver are taxed with 21% VAT. Coins, on the other hand, are traded under the margin scheme and are therefore more attractively priced. In addition to platinum coins, we also offer platinum bars in combination with storage.

Investment score
This product has an A-label (Our top 100 products). This means that it is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we recommend looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label means this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.
Label informationInvestment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.
Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.
Investment score: A C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
