This 1 troy ounce silver Australian Emu coin colored from 2023 contains 31.103 grams of 99.99% fine silver and features a colored emu design. It is the sixth edition of the Australian Emu series silver coin produced by the Perth Mint. 
 
On the obverse you see Australia's largest bird, the emu. The Australian emu cannot fly, but its powerful legs can propel itself across dry plains at speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour. Emus' primitive feathers, which resemble coarse hair, help them survive the extreme temperature swings that can be experienced in the Australian outback. 
 
This 1 troy ounce silver Australian Emu coin that is part colored has a diameter of 40.6 mm and a face value of 1 dollar. On the front you can see the design of the emu, the back shows the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial design. The coin comes in a presentation box along with a certificate of authenticity and the mintage is limited to 2,500 pieces.

The obverse of this Australian Emu coin depicts an adult emu watching over her three young babies in an Australian landscape. All around are the inscriptions 2023 1OZ 9999 SILVER - the year of issue, weight, purity and type of metal, P - the mintmark of the Perth Mint and AUSTRALIAN EMU - the name of the coin.
 
On the reverse of this Australian Emu coin you see the image of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. Also on the reverse are the inscriptions JC - the initials of Jody Clark, 1 DOLLAR - the face value of the coin in the country of origin, ELIZABETH II 1952 - 2022, the Queen's name along with the years of her reign and AUSTRALIA - the country of issue.
