Design of the Britannia coin
The obverse of the Britannia coin shows the image of Britannia that can also be seen on the other Britannia coins. This image was designed by Philip Nathan. Britannia is a symbol of the United Kingdom and is depicted with a trident in her hand and the waves at her feet.
The reverse of the coin features a beautiful effigy of King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings. The face value of £100 and the name of the monarch can also be found on this side of the coin.
