Information
Golden Krugerrand Proof coin
This beautiful variant of the South African Krugerrand is struck in proof quality and very popular with collectors. This coin is minted in a higher quality than standard investment coins minted in BU quality.
This gold coin is struck in 22 karat gold (91.67%). The net gold weight of this gold coin is exactly 1/4 troy ounce (7.78 grams). Because this coin is struck in a lower grade than other gold coins, the color is also slightly different, the coin looks a bit redder. This is because copper has been incorporated into the gold coin to make it more solid.
Design Krugerrand 2023 proof
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the text Krugerrand at the top with an image of a springbok, the national symbol of South Africa. The year the coin was minted, 2023, is also indicated and the text "Fyngoud 1/4 oz fine gold" is displayed at the bottom of the coin.
Reverse
The reverse side of the coin features Paul Kruger. The former president of South Africa was in power from 1883 to 1900. He is considered the most prominent "Farmer" during the Farmer Wars. The text "Sud Africa - South Africa" has been added around the effigy of Paul Kruger.

Investment score
Products with a C-rating are primarily valued for their collectible characteristics. This may include limited editions, unique designs, or historical significance. As a result, their price is often less closely tied to the underlying metal value. These products are typically chosen by collectors rather than investors focused on efficiency.
Label informationProducts with an A-rating are among the most commonly traded and liquid options available. These coins and bars offer a strong balance between a competitive price per gram and a low spread, making them well-suited for investors who want to acquire physical gold or silver efficiently. Due to their global recognition, they are typically easy to buy and sell.
