Design of the gold Pegasus coin 2023
The obverse depicts Pegasus, a horse with wings that played an important role in the history of Greek mythology. Also visible are the inscriptions $100 - the face value of the coin, Au 999.9 1 OUNCE - the purity and weight of the coin.
The reverse shows an effigy of King Charles III. Also shown are the inscriptions BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS - country of issue, KING CHARLES III - the king's name and 2023 - year of issue.
