On the front of the coin, you see a heart shape of selectively colored flowers and engraved acanthus leaves that form a flowering symbol of love. Two larger flowers, a zinnia and a pink daisy, are each decorated with a Swarovski® crystal to represent two souls brought together by friendship and love. Blue and peach cosmos flowers symbolize the deep ties, both family and romantic. The blue forget-me-not stands for shared memories, while a gerbera daisy means admiration and the beauty of a happy life.

On the back is the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of Susanna Blunt with the nominal value of 3 dollars.
