This variant of the Queens Beasts series, the White Lion, was released in September 2019. This is already the eighth coin from this series from the Royal Mint from the United Kingdom. This series focuses on the various Queens Beasts, these are mythical beasts from which statues are made. Each statue symbolized part of the ancestry of Queen Elizabeth II and one of the families from the United Kingdom. The White Lion stands for Edward IV's House of York.
This silver coin contains 2 troy ounces (62.2 grams) of pure silver (99.99%). Queen Elizabeth II is depicted on the reverse of the coin.
