Design of the Italia & Germania coin

Two beautiful women are depicted on the obverse of the Italia & Germania coin. The woman on the left is a symbol of Italy and has beautiful curly hair. The crown she is wearing represents an emblem of guardian gods who watch over the city. The woman on the right symbolizes Germania. Her hand rests on Italy’s shoulder. The women are standing close to each other and this symbolizes the friendship between the two cultures. The Horn of Plenty is also depicted and symbolizes prosperity and wealth.

The reverse shows the coat of arms that represents moral principles and noble values. The coat of arms of Germania was created by the Germania Mint. This has been done at their own interpretation, but in accordance with applicable heraldry rules, as Germania has never been an official country. The shield itself is a symbol of truth, loyalty, and trust. The four parts into which the shield is divided also have their own meanings. The crown that can be seen symbolizes authority, nobility, and chivalry. All values symbolizing that the reverse of the Italia & Germania coin symbolizes were respected by Germania and Italy.
