Information
Silver Maple Leaf coin from various years
The silver Canadian Maple Leaf is the purest silver investment coin in the world. This coin has a content of .9999 pure silver, which means that the coin consists of 99.99% pure silver. The Royal Canadian Mint started issuing these Maple Leaf coins in 1988. Over the years, several changes have been made to the design. For example, the image of Queen Elizabeth II has been changed three times, from an image with a young Queen Elizabeth II to the version with an older Queen Elizabeth II. Since the year 2008, the coins come in tubes of 25 coins, instead of 20 each. In other quantities, they are individually packed in plastic coin capsules.
Popular as a physical silver investment
The reason for the popularity of the Maple Leaf coins among investors is the extremely high purity and beautiful, recognisable design. Maple Leaf coins are well known worldwide and are seen as the most popular silver investment coins. In addition, the silver Maple Leaf coins from previous years are generally cheaper than the newly minted coins, while the weight and content are the same. This way, people receive proportionally more silver for their money. All silver Maple Leaf coins that we sell are checked for authenticity, weight and content.

Investment score
This product has an A-label (Our top 100 products). This means that it is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we recommend looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label means this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.
Label informationInvestment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.
Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.
Investment score: A C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
