Prooflike coins

Prooflike coins are very similar to proof coins, but there is a difference between these standards. During the production process of prooflike coins, the stamps do get polished and the coin plates treated in a special way. In contrast, several coins are struck with the same pair of stamps. Nevertheless, prooflike coins should also be handled with care to reduce the risk of damage.
