The Lunar 2027 design
The reverse features an impressive goat with long, curved horns. The animal is depicted in a rocky landscape, with a distinctive tree on the right. Above the goat are the Chinese character for goat, the inscription ‘GOAT’ and the year 2027.
The design is the same as that featured on the 2027 gold Lunar coins and was created especially for the Year of the Goat. As The Perth Mint introduces a new Lunar design every year, each annual release has its own distinctive appearance.
