The new platinum Kangaroo coin is minted by the Perth Mint, Australia. Each coin contains 1 troy ounce (31,103 grams) fine platinum (99,95%). The design from the 2017 silver Kangaroo is used as inspiration to make a platinum edition as well.
Kangaroo platinum coins are minted in 1 troy ounce fine platinum and they are among the other well known platinum coins. The Perth Mint is one of the leading mints for silver, gold and platinum coins.
At the obverse of the coin a kangaroo is displayed with rays of the sunshine at the background. On the other side of the coin Queen Elizabeth II is portrayed. The face value of this coin is $100 (Australian Dollars) and we sell these coins under the margin scheme, therefore there is no VAT included. The reverse of the coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II.
