The obverse of the ballerina coin shows a ballerina as Princess Odette from the famous ballet by Pjort Ilyich Tchaikovsky in various poses.
In the first three years, the back showed the emblem and inscription of the Soviet Union, the last two years the two-headed Russian eagle.
