The design is both bold and beautiful, presented with specifically chosen symbols that represent and reflect the nation. The design shows a shield for protection, an olive branch for peace and a trident to represent seafaring.

The ¼ troy ounce silver Britannia coin has a face value of 50 cents in its country of origin. The coin has a diameter of 22 millimeters and is sold per 19 pieces in a tube. A full sample box contains 380 coins, or 20 tubes.
The obverse depicts Lady Britannia. Around the design are various inscriptions such as 1oz - the weight of the coin, 999 - the grade of the coin, FINE SILVER - the precious metal grade, BRITANNIA - the name of the coin and 2024 - the year of issue. Also, the obverse contains four security features.
The reverse shows the effigy of King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings. Around it are the inscriptions 50 PENCE - the face value of the coin, CHARLES III - the name of the king and D. G. REX F. D. - the Latin abbreviation for "in God's grace, king."
