This 1/10 troy ounce (3,1103 grams) pure gold (99.9%) gold panda coin is issued by the China Gold Coin Corporation. The gold Panda coins are known worldwide and popular among collectors. 

A new design featuring one or more giant pandas is used on the obverse of the gold Panda coins every year. This side of the coin also names the face value, weight (1/10 troy ounce) and gold content (99.9% pure gold) of the coin. The reverse side of the gold panda coins has been the same for years. The beautiful Chinese temple 'Temple of Heaven' is depicted in the centre of the coin. The temple is easily recognisable due to the many details in the design. Surrounding the temple is the year of issue and the name of China in Chinese characters.

The gold Panda coins were from 1985 until 2015 minted in 1 troy ounces or fractions of 1 troy ounce, lika a coin of 1/10 troy ounce. Since 2016 are the golden coins minted in weights within the metric system, like a coin of 3 grams.
