Information
Royal Prestige Set "The King's Tenner"
The Royal Prestige Set 2013 is the most prestigious coin set issued in honour of the change of throne on 30 April 2013, when King Willem-Alexander succeeded his mother Beatrix as head of state of the Netherlands.
This special set contains all official King's Tenner issues, brought together in a luxurious presentation:
- €10 BU silver-plated (brilliant uncirculated quality)
- €10 silver Proof
- €20 gold Proof
- €50 gold Proof — exclusively available in this set
All coins are minted in Proof quality, which guarantees the highest collection standard. The two gold coins are made of 900/1000 gold. The €50 coin is extra special, because it was not available separately; it is therefore an exclusive collector's issue within this set.
The set comes in a luxurious wooden box with a velvet red lining, and is provided with a numbered certificate of authenticity issued by the Royal Dutch Mint.
With a very limited mintage of only 1,000 pieces, this set is not only a tribute to a historic moment, but also a rare opportunity for investors and collectors. The combination of precious metals, royal symbolism and numismatic value makes this issue an absolute must-have in any collection.
The set contains one coin of 8.5 grams and one coin of 13.44 grams, both minted in 90% gold.
Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt
The Royal Dutch Mint (KNM) is a Dutch company responsible for minting coins. The company is located in Houten and has a rich history dating back to 1567, when the Mint of Utrecht was established. In 1807, the Royal Dutch Mint was founded, and in 1912 the company was granted the "Royal" designation.
Investment score
Products with a C-rating are primarily valued for their collectible characteristics. This may include limited editions, unique designs, or historical significance. As a result, their price is often less closely tied to the underlying metal value. These products are typically chosen by collectors rather than investors focused on efficiency.
Label informationProducts with an A-rating are among the most commonly traded and liquid options available. These coins and bars offer a strong balance between a competitive price per gram and a low spread, making them well-suited for investors who want to acquire physical gold or silver efficiently. Due to their global recognition, they are typically easy to buy and sell.
