Information
Koala 15th Anniversary 3 oz Silver Proof 2022
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Australian Koala series, this special collectible has been struck from 3 troy ounces of pure silver and finished with a 24-carat gold gilding.
Few animals are as unique to Australia as the Koala. In 2007, the Perth mint chose to complement the famous Kangaroo and Kookaburra coins with a new series featuring annual designs of the most beloved marsupial in its natural habitat in the gum trees.
This 2022 anniversary coin features a 24-carat gold-plated image of the iconic animal perched on the branch of a gum tree. Besides the inscription 'KOALA 15th ANNIVERSARY' and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark, the weight; purity and year can be seen on the coin. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Jody Clark of Queen Elizabeth II above an image of the first Koala design and the inscription '2007 - 2022'.
Packaging
The coin comes complete with numbered certificate of authenticity and in its unique packaging as shown in the photos; a real gift to behold!

Investment score
Products with a C-rating are primarily valued for their collectible characteristics. This may include limited editions, unique designs, or historical significance. As a result, their price is often less closely tied to the underlying metal value. These products are typically chosen by collectors rather than investors focused on efficiency.
Label informationProducts with an A-rating are among the most commonly traded and liquid options available. These coins and bars offer a strong balance between a competitive price per gram and a low spread, making them well-suited for investors who want to acquire physical gold or silver efficiently. Due to their global recognition, they are typically easy to buy and sell.
Products with a C-rating are primarily valued for their collectible characteristics. This may include limited editions, unique designs, or historical significance. As a result, their price is often less closely tied to the underlying metal value. These products are typically chosen by collectors rather than investors focused on efficiency.
