Design of the Anubis coins
The Anubis coin has a very unique appearance. The obverse is in the shape of Anubis itself. Anubis was always depicted in black and so is also done on the coin. The black symbolizes regeneration, life, the bottom of the Nile and the discoloration of the corpse after embalming.
