Information
2 troy ounce silver Tudor Beasts Greyhound of RichmondÂ
The 2 oz Tudor Beasts Greyhound of Richmond silver coin from 2025 is an impressive release from The Royal Mint and part of the famous Tudor Beasts series. This silver coin weighs 62.207 grams (2 troy ounces) and contains silver of 999/1000 purity.
Why choose the 2 troy ounce silver Greyhound of Richmond coinÂ
This coin combines artistic finishing, historical value and high-quality precious metal. The Greyhound of Richmond symbolizes loyalty, courage and royal power - characteristic of the dynasty of the House of Tudor. As part of a limited series, this silver coin is not only an investment in precious metal, but also a special collector's item.

Historical Significance of the Richmond GreyhoundÂ
The white greyhound was associated with the House of Lancaster in the 15th century, and later with the emerging House of Tudor. As a heraldic symbol, the greyhound represented loyalty, courage and aristocratic lineage. The coin commemorates the bond between King Henry VIII and his ancestor Edward III, and honours his father Henry VII, who claimed the right to kingship through Edmund Tudor.Â
The obverse design, designed by David Lawrence, is inspired by the stone statue of the greyhound at Hampton Court Palace and features surface animation for added security and detail.

Investment score
This product has a C-label (Collectibles). This means it is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. We consider products with a C-label to be collectibles. These are often coins minted in limited quantities, with luxury packaging and a unique theme.
Label informationAn A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.
B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.
C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
