Information

2 troy ounce silver coin Poseidon

This 2 troy ounce (62,20 grams) silver coin (99,9%) depicts the Greek god Poseidon, one of the twelve Olympians in the zodiac. The Twelve Olympians of the Zodiac is a twelve issue set and considers which of the traditional star signs coincide with the Gods of Olympus of Ancient Greece. In Greek mythology, Poseidon was a son of the Titans (giants) Kronos and Rheia and the brother of the supreme god Zeus. Poseidon (Neptune to the Romans) had a trident as an attribute, which can be seen on the obverse of the coin. With it, the impetuous god could stir up water and split rocks.

Poseidon

Poseidon is the god of the seas and waters, but also of horses and earthquakes. Hence there are sanctuaries dedicated to him both on the coast and inland. Poseidon is often portrayed on fountains as a tall man with a wild beard, sometimes with some of his companions, the tritons: these were human-chested fish.

Investment score

This product has a C-label (Collectibles). This means it is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. We consider products with a C-label to be collectibles. These are often coins minted in limited quantities, with luxury packaging and a unique theme.

Label information
Investment-score: A-label

Investment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.

Investment-score: B-label

Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.

Investment-score: C-label

Investment score: A C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
