Silver Niue Turtle coins have a beautiful design, struck in 99,9% fine silver. The Hawksbill Turtle, locals call it the 'Taku', can be found in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean. Most of the Hawksbill Turtles spend the most of ther lives in the clear and shallow waters around islands in the North of New-Zealand. These Turtles avoid the deep waters and hunts for food (mainly sponges) nearby coral reefs.

Silver Niue 'Taku' Turtle coins are struck since 2010. The first silver coins in this series were very popular for investors and collectors. The Niue Hawksbill Turtle silver coins are minted by the New Zealand Mint in 2 troy ounce.
