Information

2 troy ounce silver Kangaroo Yongka colored antique finish 2023

This 2 troy ounce silver Kangaroo Yongka collectible coin is partly colored and has an antique finish. The coin was minted in 2023 by the Perth Mint and the design is inspired by the Aboriginal culture. According to Aboriginal people, everything is interrelated: the landscape, the animals that live there, the weather, how people behave and the food you find.

The kangaroo appears together with the Emu in Australia's national coat of arms and is a national symbol. The kangaroo can survive for weeks without water, spends its childhood in a pouch, moves by jumping and is one of the largest mammals on earth. The name kangaroo was given by English settlers and comes from the Aboriginal word ''gangurru''.

The silver coin is minted in 62,2 grams of 99,99% fine silver, has a diameter of 50.8 mm and comes in a presentation box together with the certificate of authenticity. The worldwide mintage is limited to 2.000 pieces.

Investment score

This product has a C-label (Collectibles). This means it is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. We consider products with a C-label to be collectibles. These are often coins minted in limited quantities, with luxury packaging and a unique theme.

Label information
Investment-score: A-label

Investment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.

Investment-score: B-label

Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.

Investment-score: C-label

Investment score: A C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
