This silver 2 troy ounce Britannia coin is struck in Proof condition and contains 99.99% pure silver. The reverse is designed by Dan Thorne and comes in a matching presentation box.
The coin has a face value of five British pounds and is minted by the Royal Mint.
On the obverse of the coin, within a stippled central circle, stands the figure of Britannia, the female personification of Great Britain, facing left. She wears a helmet with a Corinthian crest, pushed back to reveal her face. In her right hand, she holds a trident, and in her left hand, a shield depicting the roaring face of a lion. In the background, waves and the English flag.
On the reverse of the coin, the head of Queen Elizabeth II is depicted facing right, wearing the diamond diadem crown on her head.
