Information
Silver Lunar set 2024 with ten coins
This special Lunar set consists of ten silver coins minted in 1/2 troy ounce pure silver (99.99%). Each coin has a unique design with a dragon as the main character. The dragon holds the highest respect in Chinese culture. For thousands of years, it was associated with the emperor and his descendants, symbolizing wisdom, enlightenment, and goodness. The dragon also stands for ambition, success and charisma. Those born in the years 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976 and every 12th previous year fall under the sign of the dragon.
This set of coins is delivered in a black gift packaging in which all ten coins can be presented well. Each set comes with a certificate of authenticity. The Perth Mint will only issue 3.888 coin sets worldwide.
Design of the silver Lunar set 2024
The design of the ten coins from this beautiful Lunar set is entirely in the theme of the Year of the Dragon.
On the obverse of nine of the ten silver coins is a coloured dragon. Each dragon has a slightly different shape and is coloured in a different way. This makes each coin truly unique, but the set still forms a beautiful whole. The tenth coin in the series is gilded and contains the same design of a dragon as the famous silver Lunar coins 2024. Each coin is finished with the Chinese sign for the Dragon, the text DRAGON 2024 and P125, which stands for the 125th anniversary of The Perth Mint.
On the reverse of each of these silver coins is an image of Queen Elizabeth II. Around her are various inscriptions, namely: 1952 – 2022 (her reign), 1/2 troy ounce (the weight of the coins), 9999 (the silver content) and 0.50 DOLLAR (the nominal value of the coin).

Products with a C-rating are primarily valued for their collectible characteristics. This may include limited editions, unique designs, or historical significance. As a result, their price is often less closely tied to the underlying metal value. These products are typically chosen by collectors rather than investors focused on efficiency.
Label informationProducts with an A-rating are among the most commonly traded and liquid options available. These coins and bars offer a strong balance between a competitive price per gram and a low spread, making them well-suited for investors who want to acquire physical gold or silver efficiently. Due to their global recognition, they are typically easy to buy and sell.
