Obverse
The obverse is characterised by the beautiful 3D rose visible on the heart-shaped design of the coin. The gold-plated rose is a real eye-catcher. This side also features the coat of arms of Tanzania, together with the year of issue and face value.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features an image of two pandas. The foreground shows a panda with her cub. To complete the image, mountains and the text "Mother's love is forever" have been added.
