The 1 troy ounce (31.103 grams) silver (99.9%) St. Helena's Napoleon Angel coin in proof quality was minted in 2021. The coin features a beautiful design of a (gold-plated) angel guarding the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte.After a decade of rampaging across the European continent to expand his empire, Napoleon was eventually defeated by a coalition of European kingdoms, including Britain. He was exiled to the island of St Helena and briefly returned to power in 1815, before spending the rest of his life on the island. He died on the island on 5 May 1821. About 20 years after his death, his body was brought back to France and buried in a tomb guarded by 12 marble angels. At the bottom of the designer rocker is an "EIC" sign for the East India Company.
