The Mexican Libertad coins are issued since 1982 by the 'Casa de Moneda de México'. These coins are struck in 99.9^% fine silver. Individual coins are packed in a plastic coin capsule. Each 25 are offered in a tube.
On the obverse two Mexican symbols are depicted: the 'Winged Victory' statue and the vulcanos 'Popocatépetl' and 'Iztaccíhuatl'. On the reverse a picture of the National Shield of Mexico is depicted, with the line "Estados Unidos Mexicanos".
