Information
Silver Beowulf and Grendel collectible coin
This 1 troy ounce collectible coin comes from The Royal Mint and is the first coin in a series of three coins based on historical British myths and stories. The first mythical creature in this special coin series from The Royal Mint is Beowulf.
The silver Beowulf coin is struck in 99.9% pure silver and has a diameter of 38.61 mm.
Scholars believe that the Beowulf poem originated between the eighth and eleventh centuries. It is known as the longest surviving work in Old English. Christian allegorical elements can also be identified in the poem, with the title character Beowulf symbolising the battle between good and evil, and the original villain of the story, Grendel, said to be descended from the Biblical Cain, the first murderer.

Investment score
Products with a C-rating are primarily valued for their collectible characteristics. This may include limited editions, unique designs, or historical significance. As a result, their price is often less closely tied to the underlying metal value. These products are typically chosen by collectors rather than investors focused on efficiency.
Label informationProducts with an A-rating are among the most commonly traded and liquid options available. These coins and bars offer a strong balance between a competitive price per gram and a low spread, making them well-suited for investors who want to acquire physical gold or silver efficiently. Due to their global recognition, they are typically easy to buy and sell.
Products with a C-rating are primarily valued for their collectible characteristics. This may include limited editions, unique designs, or historical significance.
