This colored silver coin features the iconic kangaroo in stunning high relief.  Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver and issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.  The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Australian Kangaroo 2022 1 oz Silver Colored High Relief Coins.
 
The coin has been struck with an extra-deep blank to showcase its superbly detailed design in high relief.The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Packaged with an illustrated shipper, each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Design Kangaroo coin

The obverse of the coin portrays a bounding kangaroo and its joey in vibrant color. Other colored elements in the design comprise a grassy plain with red soils and hillocks on the horizon.  In addition to the inscription ‘KANGAROO’ and The Perth Mints ‘P’ mintmark, the reverse also incorporates the coin’s weight, purity and 2022 year-date.
 
The coin’s reverse shows the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the coin’s monetary denomination.
