This gold bar weighs 1 troy ounce (31.103 grams) and is struck in pure gold (99.99%). The bars come in Sunshine Mint's original packaging, including certification of gold content and weight. This producer is also the supplier of the United States Mint from America, where they supply the blanks (round discs of silver) for Silver Eagle coins. The Sunshine Mint is an LBMA certified producer of precious metals and is therefore very reliable.
Design
The front of this Sunshine Mint gold perch mainly shows off the producer's logo. The logo consists of an eagle flying in front of a sun trying to grab at its prey and the text SUNSHINE MINTING. Below the logo is the purity and weight of the gold perch: .9999 FINE GOLD 1 OUNCE. The serial number is also on this side of the bar, at the very bottom. The back of the gold bar is beautiful and highly detailed. Along diagonal stripes are detailed half suns, providing a nice contrast to the background, and in the centre is one more SUNSHINE MINTING.
